Hey everybody!

I've been playing The Crown at the Carolina Theatre for the better part of three years now, and it truly is starting to feel like home. Here's to many more collaborations with my friends over there, bringing high quality local, regional, and national music to the best venue in the Piedmont Triad.

All of these tunes have been recorded before, so I won't verbositize these notes with descriptions, beyond saying that 9 of these tunes are from my Shel Silverstein suite (found here: chadeby.bandcamp.com/album/the-sweet-shel-suite-music-inspired-by-shel-silverstein - Why not buy one today?), and the other 4 are songs dedicated to my two children and two of my favorite saxophonists (also found here: chadeby.bandcamp.com/album/broken-shadows - You get the drill).

There were a few bumps and bruises on the way through...but as my friend JD Allen says, "Falling down and recovering is fun....that's jazz."

Amen.

I'm once again humbled to share the stage with 2 of my colleagues at UNC-Greensboro, plus one of our outstanding alums who has taken his rightful place in the area's musical royalty. I love these guys, and we're making better music together and having more fun than anyone should be allowed to do. I hope you have fun listening!
